Rafi specialises in life sciences patents litigation and advising clients on regulatory issues in the life sciences sector. Rafi's patent litigation experience includes both representing clients in U.K. proceedings and assisting clients with multi-jurisdictional proceedings and preparation for potential litigation. In addition, Rafi has a particular interest on the interplay between life sciences regulatory issues and patent litigation and in regulatory exclusivities.

Laëtitia Bénard
Laëtitia leads the Paris Intellectual Property practice and is Global Co-Head of A&O Shearman’s IP Litigation. She has a wealth of expertise in all intellectual property areas. As a patent litigator, Laëtitia has acted in numerous high-profile international patent disputes, notably for pharmaceutical and high-tech companies, and is recognised for her innovative approach and for breaking new ground. On the Life Sciences front, she has unique experience on the French market being able to advise on pharmaceutical regulatory issues and their interplay with intellectual property law: she has been involved in a number of complex, market-leading, high-value patent litigation, which raises issues of concern for the whole pharmaceutical industry.
Laëtitia frequently publishes and gives talks on patent litigation topics, especially in relation with preliminary injunction measures, SPCs and the UPC.
